The Smith College Squash Team ran a Charity Squash Tournament for the local United Way of Hampshire County – fortuitously it was on the same day as World Squash Day – so a great combination!. Ten members of Tim Bacon’s newly developed ESS962 Introduction to Racquet Sports Course played in their first tournament – fulfilling the second part of the World Squash Day Challenge! There was also an 8-person draw for the Smith College Squash Team – won by Captain and #1 Meg Oliverio and an 8-man men’s section, won by Smith Coach Tim Bacon. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Hampshire County!
