Table Tennis Club

What does table tennis have to do with squash?  Well the “chopping” underspin/backspin style of play technique is highly similar to squash!  Of course, good table tennis players also use topspin, sidespin and spin combinations, especially on serves.

Currently there is no regular “table tennis night” at Smith College.  There are however two tables by the squash courts that can be rolled onto courts – bats, balls and a very good Donic net can be borrowed by leaving your membership card at the equipment booth.  Keep in mind that the squash team generally practices in the 4-7 pm. time block – check the team schedule for weekend usage.
